It's fine and if you want a department store with good range then give them a try. You can see why the business is closing stores and fighting to stay alive. They have reasonably good selections of clothes for everyone and some household and makeup sections. Selection for mens clothes is okay but it would never be my 1st choice. Always nervous of buying gifts as they could go bust any time. Something about the look and feel of the shop makes you wonder if they have no money to make it look more appealing.

I lost a gift bag with some expensive Christmas presents for my SO, and ended up wandering around Glasgow for an hour trying to find them. Last place to check was Debenham and one of the staff sprinted after me to tell me it had been handed in. It was really lovely. So big thank you to the girl with the red hair (I think her name was Elle), the guy in the blue jumper, and the lost and found lady. You were all really lovely, and merry Christmas!

The staff in here are really helpful and have some great chat, they make you feel welcome and are happy to help without being too intrusive as you browse. The layout of the store is great too, they have a lot of products and different confessions but they are all clearly marked and there's plenty of space when walking around to really look at everything.

Wide selection of goods at excellent prices. I bought a briefcase today. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Used to be my favourite Dept Store in Glasgow City Centre. Depleted stock and choices vastly reduced. Looks more like a closing down sale. And don't get me started on the 5th floor cafe! Never seen it so bad. Very few choices, and soup was absolutely tasteless. Don't think we'll ever use the cafe again - it was that bad. Very disappointing.
