After reading the website and seeing reviews and stars we figured we had booked a great hotel. On arrival it became evident that we were wrong and the website was somewhat misleading. (Boutique hotel, memorable experience and comfort from home.) The pool area was dirty and the odour from the toilet travelled to the pool. Says pool and spa……. Just a pool with a broken spa inside one end. Room was very sparse and very bright, not even a working lamp for some ambient light to make it feel warm and welcoming. Just lots of spotlights. I found it quite depressing in the room looking out the window to a carpark. Bed Linen was grubby.and I’ve never seen a plastic door to a bathroom before except in maybe a caravan. Room itself and hotel was very clean. Just no comfort and no soul felt like an office block. Staff at front desk were polite. They didn’t make you feel welcome they were just polite. Don’t make the mistake of thinking boutique and 4.5 star rating is a reason to book here. From my experience the website was a touch misleading and overpromised and the reality was it under delivered for me.

Nice enough hotel with standard rooms, however the rooms have no soundproofing of any kind. You can easily hear conversations in adjoining rooms and the hallways, and traffic outside. Bring earplugs! (or stay elsewhere)

The room was dirty and the shower floor looked it it was never swept. The toilet had stains around the water level so it hadn't been scrubbed either. We arrived on Friday for a 6 night stay to be told there was no housekeeping on weekends. Ran out of everything. When the room was made up, only the bed was pulled up, no sweeping or cleaning any surfaces or cups. No replacement bathroom items either. We had to keep going to reception ourselves to get the basics. Sheets not changed in 6 days. Go elsewhere!
