Curry Mahal brighton

Recently taken over by new management and its lovely both food and decor. It is however, alcohol free but they do have alcohol free beer

Our local for 14 years now stopped serving alcohol, and won't allow BYO. I wish them well but will never go to this restaurant again.

I am absolutely fuming. Ordered curries tonight at 6.45. It came at 8.30 with a main missing. Rang them straight away and told they'd get it out soon .Rang back again at 9.15 and told it was on its way. At 9.45 had to mix the dishes to accommodate the missing meal for our guests. It's now 10.18pm and there's still no sign of the chicken Korma. They've taken my money but not delivered the goods. It was dry where I had to have it in the oven for so long. How about this. They said they'd give it to me next time. Seriously are they kidding.

A nice little curry house on Portland Road. Accommodating service for a group of 12 (you'd need to normally pre-book). Waiter did get a bit confused about the drinks, but good-natured person and no harm done. Good selection of menu items. Not too expensive and they can do gluten free dishes if you ask.

Where to start....?! I absolutely LOVE Curry Mahal! I refuse to go anywhere else. The staff are amazing and helpful. I messaged them asking a question, and they responded 7 minutes later! The food arrives hot and tasty, every single time i order. They are the most consistent restaurant i have ever known. I would highly recommend Curry Mahal... you'll definitely be the one missing out if you go elsewhere!

Very nice food. Very clean. Staff friendly and attentive. Only sell alcohol free. Didnt stop us enjoying our meal.
