Lovely family day out, but not sure why they had to close the shops for lunch when there only open for 6 hrs because then it causes long queues and not great in the current situation!!!

We had love day at the tram museum but it was a little tainted by a very aggressive self important little man who was the conductor on one of the trams, we were on the tram with children and one of them pushed a small button that wasn't labelled in any way to identify what it was , the angry gentleman in question came running up the stairs shouting and trying his hardest to belittle the group of us over the button pressing Incident stating that the tram could have made a dangerous emergency stop as a result of the button being pressed ,i think in reality it just rang a small bell downstairs but never the less I think the button should be labelled, as children are curious and this particular member of staff seemed to be very passionate about the little button

So much to do and see. You can ride an old fashioned tram. Learn the history of trams, and where the trams travel to in each county. Old styles sweet shop with a variety if choices. Nice gift shop. Park great for kids of all ages, woodland trail with wood sculptures leading to an activity area. In the area you can place snakes and ladders, naughty and crosses, go in a maze and play with so many other things! Completely reccomend for all the family!

A great experience in a fantastic location. Trams are tip top condition and good fun, the track was much longer than I expected. Food from the cafe wasn't a great choice, I would give that a satisfactory rating. Great park area to walk around and play in as well, lots in that area for the kids to do and get hands on with. Could do with some other vehicles from the period to add context and interest.

Very interesting if you enjoy the opportunity of riding on beautiful old, excellently, lovingly refurbished to original, trams. Going around the trams shed workshops & museum. Old fashioned public house, sweet shop, ice creams, tea shop & printers. Lovely day out, enjoyed every bit then wandered around the corner to Crich stand, memorial.

Went a few times as a kid, revisited recently. I'm into steam trains etc, so loved it. My partner (who isn't into steam trains etc at all) also loved it. Nice to have a gentle ride on a tram and a beer at the old fashioned pub.

Love this place, been going since I was young and now I take my kids. Great playground & nature trail too as well as the old trams to ride. You can easily spend the whole day, especially in good weather.

Easy to locate, covid restrictions in place yet it didn't feel regimented. Spotlessly clean. Some of the attractions were not open however plenty of trams to see in the tram sheds. Rides available on 3 trams at present. Outdoor adventure park and play area very popular. The ice cream parlour opened at lunchtime and Rita's tea room proved very popular with limited freshly prepared food and drinks at reasonable prices. The gift shop was well stocked with reasonably priced products, some with a generous discount. Even the traditional sweet shop was open. Our 4 year old granddaughter loved it. Also lots of picnic tables and seats, friendly staff and large car park. It's many years since we last visited, however we shall be back soon. Must mention the clean toilets with plenty of soap and paper towels. We'll done to all the staff and volunteers. T
