9yo daughter had her ears pierced here. The staff were great, really friendly and there was no rush to choose her first pair. The guy doing the piercings was very reassuring to my daughter and did an excellent job.

Avoid this place at all costs. Took my Tissot watch to have the battery replaced. Shortly after leaving the shop i noticed the watch was not working any more. Took it back and asked them to check the battery again. They replaced it again but the watch was still not working. My watch was working perfectly before i took it in, was just doing the standard 3 second low battery warning. I now have to send my watch off to Tissot to get it fixed. The person who served me at first offered to refund me the £10 for the battery but then said she wouldnt refund me. Absolute disgrace of a shop. After speaking to a couple of friends about the issue, one mentioned they had had a similar experience where their watch was damaged after using Craven. AVOID if you have a watch of any value.

Love this place, they have been my jewellers for 20 years now, made my wedding ring, 40th and 50th necklaces and many repairs, valuations and alterations too. Would definitely recommend it.

Malcolm has redesigned my emerald engagement ring, adding a diamond either side. The setting is truly beautiful. I couldn’t have dreamed a better outcome from our discussion. It’s a wonderful shop to visit, Malcolm and Anne are so welcoming. Highly recommend.

We went to Craven jewellers for my engagement ring upon a friend’s recommendation and we cannot recommend them highly enough! We had a lovely welcoming from Anne, congratulating us on our engagement and then spent a considerable amount of time with Malcolm discussing all the different designs in detail. Upon selecting a design Malcolm arranged for some diamonds to be on site so we could go back and select a stone, assuring us that they are only sourced from the very best. Selecting an engagement ring is something you only do once and is a very special and exciting time, however, it can also be very daunting. Malcolm spent a substantial amount of time going through all the relevant information about diamonds and really put us at ease, discussing everything in so much detail. No pressure just outstanding customer service. In addition to have a ring where you pick every detail is perfect and it’s made on site - I cannot wait to receive the ring now which I’m sure will be all I’ve ever wanted. Thank you so much.
