Stayed for 2 nights here. Very nice rooms but for the money there should have been more attention to detail. No where to plug the kettle in where the Tea and coffee was laid out. Had to plug in on bedside cabinet. No where to sit and do make up. Had to stand in bathroom or in front of a huge mirror, with no lighting, not good when you have a bad back. The bed was really comfortable and plenty of large towels. Loved the hot tub and it's seclusion. Restaurant was very good with exceptional food, but don't have the rump steak, this should not be on the menu. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Would I stay again, yes.

This place is lovely, well organised and dog friendly. That's why I decided to leave 4* review instead of 3*. Room we had (Roebuck) was good enough but there is an issue with temperature. Its very warm overnight and when you open the window there is street outside and you can hear passing cars. Guess it's much better to pick one of the rooms with fenced garden with hot tub. No coffee machine in the room :( Also problem with soundproof, actually you can hear all talks and all steps from upstairs. We had nice dinner with good food but some of the dishes seemed to be a little bit overpriced. Wine lovely, local Red Ram beer is worth to try. Breakfast very good, we really enjoyed it. Parking is free. We would like to come back but definitely try another room.
