Costa cafe is a nice place, excellent coffee, delicious cakes and snacks, friendly and professional service. Costa is located on a nice pedestrian street where you have a nice time shopping and spending free time for dinner with your friends. A typical place for a big city. I recommend visiting this cafe

So disappointed with our visit to Costa. The place was filthy.....rubbish all over the floor and tables needing cleaned. Serving area was dirty with spills galore and staff who appeared unperturbed to deliver a good service. There was also a problem with flies everywhere. Most definitely the worst Costa experience ever and not the standard I expect from this coffee chain.

Everything in the disabled bathroom was up to code, no tied up/cut short emergency cord etc, clear signage, plenty of bars to brace on, and back padding to be comfortable whilst on the toilet which was a good height. Soap etc was well stocked and it was quite clean. Was also able to use my radar key easily and there was a ramp up into the shop and plenty of wheelchair space.

Been to many a Costa Coffee and this particular shop has by far the rudest staff and the dirtiest toilets. I'm sure some of the staff are lovely, but there are a couple who seem to think are headmistresses of a school during the Victorian era. Ordering people around with a tone that wouldn't look out of place coming from Miss Trunchball from Matilda at the West End. Must make them feel mightily powerful. You work in a coffee shop. I'm not demeaning the job, but get a grip and please don't take out any inferiority complexes you may have on people that want a hot chocolate. Have a word with yourself next time you are at home in front of the mirror practicing your tough guy routine, or when you're in the garden practicing shot put.
