Costa Coffee cambridge

We visited here yesterday and the place was absolutely filthy. Flies all over the cakes and foods. No exaggeration!! This was the worst cafe hygiene wise I’ve ever visited. My wife pointed out the flies to the young man behind the till and he just responded with ‘I know’. Massively understaffed as well. Three people working in the cafe in a popular part of the city. It was an ordeal!!

The worst Costa I’ve been to. There are loads of small bugs flying around the whole ground floor, even above the food counter. The basement is damp and smells like toilet (which is indeed there).

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime, my latte spilled all over my tray because I wasn't given a saucer, making everything on my tray wet and sticky. I was only given one napkin, so couldn't mop anything up.

Went in for the fourth time this month late this afternoon (4.30pm)and third time in a row the downstairs seating area was 'closed for cleaning.' The last time I went, it was a Saturday around 5pm, I was lucky enough to get table however watched countless people leave as downstairs was 'closed for cleaning.'. I asked the barista who told me it the cleaning was the close down cleaning not some specialist upholstery cleaning as you would presume it to be to warrant the whole room being closed . It seems they only want it money when it doesn't delay their finish time. ...... Which is curious since they shut at 7pm this eve. The service is quick and the coffee is ok, however I will be going elsewhere from now on where I can sit down.

This costa is great for studying! It had plugs, a good selection of drinks and food (the costa hot chocolate is the best) and is spacious (upstairs)

Was a good Costa, their food and drinks were of the usual standard. Nothing out of the ordinary. Was in a good accessable place in the centre by the market, but the ground floor waiting room was very crowded and the quew of only a few people was out of the door.
