I was rejected for a course here because I have an assistant dog... Yeah they broke the law and told me I won't be allowed to attend unless they do a risk assessment because they were "concerned" my dog would disrupt the campus. I was refused education because I am disabled. No one ever called me back. I was asked if I would leave my SERVICE DOG home so I could attend... Now the course was for art. I have been allowed to go to hospitals, restraunts and many other places including grocery stores with my medical alert dog.But no. This college couldn't allow it.

The campus is fairly large and has a plenty of catering facilities so coffee addicts like me don't go without the daily intake of caffeine. Plus a cinema and McDonald's right on the doorstep. I had a vary good experience, far different than I expected and in a good way tutors are supportive and fairly relaxed. All in all one of the best campuses in Wales

I applied for A levels here through a website about two months ago, and yesterday there was an open day for A levels applicants so that they could show us around the college and help us decide on what would we actually want to do once we start college, only 30 minutes into the open day I find out that they don't do D.T and that is the course I require to get into Interior Design course in University, so that was one downgrade, then later on I had a teacher talking to me for about 10 minutes how I should do Engineering when that has nothing to do with my future career, there we go 2nd downgrade, then I find out that I have to go alway to Cardiff college to do the course I need for my future career and the course I need for university, wow surprised there was a 3rd downgrade as I though the this disappointment would finish after the first one. I was so excited that I can go to Coleg Y Cymoedd just to find out I would have to travel all way to Cardiff, well done to Coleg Y Cymoedd Nantgarw!! I thought it was all about helping youths get their Career but apparently its all about money as they can't be bothered to spend money on teachers that do D.T so they would rather just talk to us for 10 minutes about how we should take a subject that has nothing to do with our career when I know exactly what I need to get into the Job id like to do in the future. Don't worry people who want to D.T, it'll be fine and if you can't find a college that does D.T then I seriously recommend St.Davids it's much better and you won't get let down either!
