Clifton Moor york

Visited twice in the past few months and both times the service has been terrible. They seem to only ever have 2 staff, one of which looks like Gimli the dwarfs ugly brother and has the get up and go of a wet sock. You can rest assured here that you will stand at the till looking around the store for a staff member to take your money for upwards of 10 minutes only to be treated like an inconvenience to their already hard life. Some of this I'm sure is down to staffing and the management of the store but it's not good all the same. The staff seem to hate being there almost as much as the collection of grumbling customers. Some of which dumped what they planned to buy at the till and just walked out.

I think that there are lots of decent shops here, obviously it isn't as varied as monks cross nor is the lay out as convenient but it is a great place to go for day to day goods.

Generic retail park on the edge of York. Has the usual mix of retail/leisure outlets with big choice of eating establishments- probably too many. Plenty of free parking. All perfectly pleasant but perfectly bland and you could be in any retail park in any town.

Cold but warm in the shops. Had a excellent cup of coffee and a scone in Dunelm.

Some quiet nice things in here, furniture, ornaments etc. Very reasonable prices.

Everything here except great roads as weekend are crazy . The 1237 is basically a car park

Lots of places to eat and shop. When we got there a few of the restaurants had closed. So a bit less choice than normal
