Beautiful modern apartments though not all rooms have a lovely view of the city as you would expect.

Beautiful modern apartments though not all rooms have a lovely view of the city as you would expect. I was unlucky to stay in a room that overlooked a building site. The bathroom was beautiful. The room comes with a fridge, microwave oven, cutlery, tv, desk, sofa and a decent size bed.

The best place to stay at during your visit in Manchester, it is so worth the money with the gym and pool included and the rooms are so spacious and clean. They have the best and most friendly staff who constantly go out their way to make everyone feel extra special. Literally the only place I stay at in Manchester before picking any hotel

Just got back from an amazing stay at City Suites in Manchester. Honestly don’t have a bad word to say about it. Me and my boyfriend only stayed for the night and used the hot tub/ pool and had breakfast in the Embankment kitchen, both of which were most enjoyable. The rooms were spotless, and we had the best of views on the 9th floor, especially in the evening! The staff were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!!

On arrival for check in at 3pm, we were told we couldn't check in till 4pm. So we waited in the executive lounge for 1 hour. We went back down to check in and we was told we had to wait for another 15 minutes while the room gets inspected. 4.25pm came and we were finally able to get in the room. My husband had requested a city view apartment when he booked on a high tier. We was put on the 3rd floor with the view of a building site and a car park. Also requested on booking was a king-size bed, which we were given a very small double bed. The air conditioning wasn't working properly and the windows hardly open so the rooms were too hot at night. The TV apps were all set in Spanish and we wasn't able to change it or watch anything. If you come here for a good night's sleep then I wouldn't bother because the cars, screaming, rowdiness, ambulance sirens, police sirens were enough to keep us awake all night. You get access to a gym and a pool which we didn't use because we already had plans. Overall for £179 for one night is not worth it in our experience. We wouldn't stay here again.
