My daughter was registered at this surgery, she has said that the receptionist here is really rude, I wasnt sure if this was correct until I actually heard the receptionist talking to my daughter while we were returning from hospital - she was really rude, I accompanied my daughter to the surgery as the doctor had asked her to call once the hospital appointment was finished to book in a blood test. As a consequence of me asking the receptionist how to lodge a complaint, the surgery has now removed my daughter and her 4 year old son without cause or reason. What a shoddy place that has a rude woman on reception chasing away people who need their doctors service....very out of order, I will be making a written complaint on behalf of my daughter, its a pity as the doctor is very good at this surgery but the customer service lets the Surgery down.

I have been a patient of Churchfield Road Surgery for several years and am extremely happy with the care I have received. The doctors are methodical and pragmatic but also very caring. I have never struggled to get telephone or in person appointments. The receptionist is very helpful and accommodating. I hope to continue to be a patient of this surgery for many years to come.

I've been a patient at the surgery for 30 years and received great care from both Dr. Datta's. More recently I have been seen on the same day after a quick telephone appointment and its been quick and easy. I'm surprised by the other reviews on here as this is not my experience after all this time being at the practice.

I’ve been a member of this gp since 2002 and my experiences have usually been okay however I called this week to make an appointment and they told me that the doctor will call me on the same day but I didn’t end up receiving a call. The next day I called them back and told them I didn’t receive a call and to check what number they have for me, The receptionist checked what number they had for me and it turned out to be my old number so I told the receptionist to change it to my new number. So the next day I called again to make an appointment and I was told again that the doctor will call me on the same day, it got to around 12pm and I still didn’t receive a call until my dad came into my room and told me that my doctor is on the phone to him, my doctor told me that he was unable to reach me so I asked him what number was it and the number he told me was again my old number, so clearly the receptionist didn’t do their properly, I nearly missed another telephone appointment cos of her. So when I was speaking to my doctor, I told him I need a prescription for two items which we both verified together and he said he would send over the prescription to my pharmacy. I called my pharmacy today and asked them if my prescription was ready for collection and they told me it was however on the prescription there was only one item even though I asked for two. I called back this GP and the receptionist told me that I can’t speak to my doctor today because he’s busy and to call back on Monday, how is this fair on me? Ps. The receptionist I’m referring to is the Asian one.

The receptionist is beyond rude! Such a shame from a doctor surgery where you would expect a kind and caring manner.
