Chesne Hair & Beauty glasgow

I think everyone is nervous walking into a hairdresser they've never been to before but the atmosphere is very relaxed in Chesne. The staff was all male on the day I visited which I loved,i quite refreshing in a mostly female dominated industry. Alin was my stylist and he was super chilled. I noticed the shop was really tidy and clean. I will definitely be back.

Have been coming to Chesne Hair as a regular for a number of years now. I can't give the place enough credit. The welcome I got when I first visited, as if I had been coming for ages, to the professionalism I still encounter each and every visit. The salon itself is stylish, fresh and well laid out. The prices of the hair treatments/cuts more than competitive. James the manager always acknowledges me when I arrive and regularly thanks me for my custom. I always get my hair cut by Joseph but although he is my stylist of choice I can see that all the hair stylists are very talented and popular. Joseph as a stylist has given me so many superb cuts/styles, I've never left disappointed or unsure, he has also given me perfect advice when I have asked regarding style changes/tweaks. Joseph is utter professional in his work but over the years he has become a friend as well, I actually look forward to our chats/catch ups. In my opinion Joseph is a clear asset to Chesne Hair. Overall as you can see I would have no hesitation in recommending this place, I see no reason to ever consider anywhere else.

Yes!!! I've finally found a fantastic hairdresser in Glasgow! Had my hair cut by Joseph for the first time in March and I walked out feeling extremely happy with the cut and overall experience. I would definitely recommend this salon.

I have been to many hair salons in Glasgow and I have to say that the service in Chesne has bèen the best by far. Joseph is an artist, best cut I have ever had and Paula has worked a miracle on my colour. I highly recommend this salon.

After getting a decent haircut on my first visit ended up going back for a dry cut as recommended a few weeks later yet with nothing much being done to it and a very noticeable wonky fringe that another hairdressers is remedying later today (one side cut way too sort with no shaping and the other side curved yet almost in my eye) I will not be returning to this salon.

I have lived in numerous countries and traveled extensively, and this is one of the best places I’ve been to get my hair cut and colored. Everyone did a great job! I highly recommend coming here if you want to feel valued, have great conversations (if you want), and laugh - not to mention hear good music playing! This is my go to spot in Scotland.

Been happy with every visit in the 4 years I’ve been coming here. I’ve had my BEST colour and cuts here and it’s great value for Glasgow city centre. Ross makes a gorgeous job of my blonde every time and there’s no one I’d trust more than Joe to cut my hair - he’s an artist
