Charming Chatelaine We recently returned from our stay at Chatelaine, aptly named for this designer home. The peace and tranquility is pure bliss and so important for weary Sydney siders! The gardens are beautifully kept with stunning trees, plants and of course the view of the Megalong Valley from the inside and especially the outdoor deck is like none other. Modern facilities with comfortable dining and lounge seating, it was spacious enough for 3 people with our own rooms to sleep amongst top quality linen and awake feeling refreshed. Congratulations and thank you Lorraine for your hard work and for providing first class accommodation, we will definitely be returning.

Lovely place to stay, Art Deco everywhere you look, everything has been well thought out and well placed. Even though it was raining heavy on our trip there were plenty of things to do inside. I highly recommend this property and certainly looking forward to visiting again.

Absolutely stunning! We had a lovely girls weekend away at Chatelaine and couldn't ask for a better experience. The house was divine, decorated beautifully in art deco style with such great attention to detail. We really appreciated all the special extra inclusions of wine and chocolates. The view was amazing! Lorraine was the perfect host! Will definitely be going back for another stay. Highly recommended!

Jaw droppingly beautiful inside and out! The Chatelaine is a very special place. You feel like a VIP the moment you drive in, then you open the door and your eyes soak in the amazing, retro deco. The place blows you away with all the fabulous rooms, each with their own character. The bathrooms make you feel like you are at spa with the soft water mimicking the cascades you can walk and see in the Blue Mountains. Everything at Chatelaine is perfectly considered, the kitchen is a joy to cook in, the dining room table lulls you into serenity with it's uninterrupted views of the blue mountains, the pool table challenges you to have a game, the fireplace whispers to you to turn it on as the evening cools. Everything is gloriously luxurious and fabulously comfortable. Lorraine makes you feel like you are the first and only people to ever stay there, leaving you a little tipple for your arrival, Timtam biscuits for your cup of tea and even bacon and eggs for your breakfast. Wherever you are coming from and whatever you have been doing, everything will fade away when you are here. I felt time disappear and rested and re-energised each day. The place even has king parrots that will call to you to say hello. At the moment, the three sisters and Katoomba cascades are lit up at night and it's all sooooooo close to Chatelaine that it's easy and makes it all the magical for your stay. If you are lucky enough to book Chatelaine, you will never regret it and instead will be shouting about it from the top of the blue mountains about how good you feel! Also special thanks to Lorraine for all the special touches and for the polite, welcoming communications. This place is so special, it's a hidden gem in an already beautiful place.
