Cathedral Gardens manchester

Went to see the Christmas Ice Cavern. Absolutely magnificent. All the children as well as adults loved it finishing off with seeing Father Christmas and some of his elves. Then walked round the locality. Was wonderful. Went in Cotton Exchange building. Superb. Lots of restaurants all new to us and boutique hotel. Very exciting. Saw the trams. New to us. Wish we had something like that in our neck of the woods but no comparison in Devon. We will be returning without doubt. History of Cathedral in such well laid out gardens so very interesting as were historical buildings in vicinity. To think I did not like going to Manchester when I lived in Liverpool!!

These were great apartments. Large and airy with everything you need for your stay. Very clean and easy access able to all with plenty of space for 6 people. Close to the busy railway line going into Victoria but soundproofing in the place and triple glazing made it very quiet. Staff were very helpful and did what they could to help if needed and very reasonably priced for you get. A great location in easy reach of all Manchester main attractions and very to close to local transport links. Would recommend this to families of all ages or simply couples wanting a bit more space.

Amazing ice sculptures. The gardens are lovely but the Christmas ice structures were very beautiful and well worth a visit

A lot of history, very informative and a lot of interactive activities for kids. It's a wonderful family experience.

Rude staff. Small skating rink. Very busy. Very dissapointed. Waste of money. You can find cheaper and much better!

It's the Christmas market at the moment so really commenting on that. The cathedral offers the classical Christmas counterpoint to the modern Christmas market. Everyone was having fun, drinking eating, rollerskating. A bit pricey but hey get in the Christmas spirit. Stalls were limited and repeated bit festive enough. Christmas cheeses, marshmallows and decorations. Merry Christmas.

Great! good parking on site. However you would need to have the pass codes for getting past the bollards. I was working there. I love Central Manchester, if I wanted to spend the day there I would get the train.

Visited Italian food and drink, thought there would be more stalls etc there. Music was great

Great place to sit on a sunny day. Place for festivals and socializing. Really great green space for the city.

Previous years has been much better. Decided to have a burger but it wasn't very nice. Usually say nothing if things substandard but the lack of quality took me by surprise
