Greta little museum, free entry and so interesting. You learn new things and get to experience art and culture. Booking system works perfectly they know who you are as soon as you walk in. Friendly stuff and always someone around to ask questions. There’s also a little section at the end to purchase gifts. 1 less star just to how small it was but otherwise couldn’t fault it.

Well lit and well presented artefacts . Something of interest for everyone . Staff are very friendly and helpful . The art work on display was fascinating as was the lives of the artists. Beautiful displays of minerals and Blue John . Enjoyed every minute I was there. A must see, when in Buxton .

A lot has changed over the years. I often visited this venue as a child to see the space exhibition. Great prices for semi precious stones at the gift shop and the staff have always been welcoming/friendly. Glad to see that the bear (which used to look enormous to me), is at least still there.

A hidden gem. Took my son who is 8 years old. There was so much to interest him & also the free trail was a great addition. Highly recommend a visit. There is free parking in the surrounding streets so don't have to pay in a car park.

What a beautiful, informative and brilliantly curated museum. Well worth the visit. Loved the stories of the Peak District through time and the exhibition of art by an incredible local artist! I only wish I had had the cash to buy one and take it home. Thank you to the Museum team.
