Fantastic place for a little break. All sparkly new and beautifully decorated. Great pools and spa rooms. Tasty breakfast! Great for a treat.
Beautiful spa and great staff in there. Room good. Let down was the restaurant, despite booking precise time, took 45 minutes to order with no water or anything offered in interim . Staff in restaurant sweet but inexperienced and no one managing them. I'd happily stay again but would eat outside restaurant. Food very heavy which will suit some tastes but some of us go to spa for healthy experience. Be careful if you have allergies or are vegetarian, we ordered vegetarian breakfast and got pork sausages, staff don't really listen and are on auto pilot.
Fabulous overnight stay at the Buxton Crescent Spa hotel. The hotel is stunning and the refurbishment is tasteful and luxurious. The spa is first class with a selection of pools , saunas and relaxation areas.
Beautiful hotel and very good service. The spa has 4 pools one outside all heated. Our room was very stylish and overlooked parkland.
A perfect stay. Lovely room, gorgeous meals and a very nice crisp clean spa not to mention beautiful country walks.
Really enjoyed our visit today with tour guide Isaac who was engaging and informative. Lots of information presented in a variety of ways and great attention to detail; loved the hot air balloon ride and apothecary where we could choose our medical issues! Takes about 1.5hrs...well worth it.
Stefan our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was happy to answer questions we had too and took his time showing us all the rooms we visited. The experience was very well designed and we enjoyed the interactive aspects very much. We would highly recommend this family friendly visitor experience.
An interesting tour! Our tour guide was fantastic, and really knew his stuff. He was clearly passionate about history which made the tour even better. Think his name was Stefan x
The time we spent there was about 4 hours. The lady who explained every thing about the beginning of the belief that the water in Buxton had excellent substances so that a number of health issues were easily cured. To begin with the wealthy people believed that they would be cured. To bring it up to any time now we were told that the football team called Everton had the treatment to such an extent they won the FA Cup in 1956. The visit was excellent and kept us maintaining our attention.
An amazing experience. Fun, educational and extremely enjoyable. Stefan our guide deserves 5 stars himself for his excellent ability to speak with passion and interest. We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Buxton.
