I've been to Brothers for a few years now. On every occasion I have seen Lottie, as she had been recommended to me. I have very curly hair (type 3b) which is very tricky to cut. She has always done an amazing job! Even when I left and there was the odd mistake (curly hair dries in mysterious ways after a cut) she was happy for me to come back in to fix it free of charge. If you have curly hair, Lottie is the woman to see!

I had such a lovely first time experience at Brothers with Jess! She had a detailed consultation with me about what she was going to do and the reason why which was fantastic. Lily blow dried my hair after and was so friendly. After having my hair done in other high end salons in Oxford, I can definitely say this is by far the best and will make you feel the most relaxed. 100% will be returning!

We booked in for a pre graduation wash and blow dry myself and our daughter for an early morning ceremony starting at 10am. On explaining that we only had a short time given our 8am appointment, in response the staff were brilliant going ‘over and above’ by offering to open the saloon early at 7.45! The staff were lovely and the head massage was really great. We were very happy as we left for the ceremony fully glammed up for Lucy’s big day. Thank you so much everyone - we cannot praise you enough for your professionalism and commitment to customer service! Ina and Lucy x

Wonderful, relaxing salon! The staff are friendly and attentive. I would recommend Jess for hair colour. She’s a superstar and I don’t trust anyone else to do a better job than her! ❤️

I have been having my hair cut and coloured at Brother’s Oxford for several years & have always had an amazing experience. The staff are warm and friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at ease. Today I had a cut and colour with Grant who is nothing short of a wizard. He took time to ensure he really understood what I wanted & then went above and beyond to achieve it. The result was incredible - I don’t think my hair has ever looked this good. I will now be using this “After” photo as my new reference image for all other visits. Ultimate hair goals! Thank you! x

One star because the service I wanted, colouring, was rendered adequately. Otherwise, my experience at this salon was horrendous and I left feeling retched. I was mishandled, discriminated against because of my hair type. I have curly hair. I asked to have my hair dried (not a mise-en-plis, a simple drying, as it was October, I don't think I should be expected to go outside with damp hair. Also, I dry my hair with a diffuser in maybe 6 minutes) after my colouring when I booked my appointment *in person*. There is one way to dry curly hair: with a diffuser. The one that was used on my hair as well as the dryer were not good quality, so yes it did take a long time to dry. The other issue is that the two people that had to do it had obviously never used a diffuser or handled anything more than waves. I politely tried to help the first person who was struggling. Another person took over and that's when I started feeling uncomfortable, othered, and as if I was the problem. The person was roughly shoving strands of hair in the diffuser (which was set at cold which I kept trying to explain was delaying the process). I felt despondent and tried to offer advice but the person was not listening to me, clearly they wanted put of the salon as quickly as possible. So I just sat there feeling, embarrassed and watched them destroy my hair. I looked atrocious and felt awful. I wanted to say something but I would start to cry assuredly and I just wanted to het out of there as quickly as possible. It's been two weeks and I still feel dreadful. Beauty treatments are meant to leave people feeling confident, beautiful, and happy. I felt the opposite. This place is clearly meant for people with easily managed straight hair.

I've been going to brothers for 14 years now. My experience each and every time has been second to none. The text confirmation is very helpful. The receptionists are very warm and welcoming, the lovely trainees are very attentive and my stylist always take the time to ask about what I'd like and takes a real interest in me. I have a relaxing experience and I always look forward to my appointments. Thank you!
