My granddaughter recently had open heart surgery here and being only 4 months old it was a scary time for everyone. The nurses, consultants, surgeons and after care team were phenomenal and were extremely attentive to our concerns. Baby came home today and I have nothing but praise. A massive thankyou for everything.

Beyond blessed to have you on our doorstep!!!! You are all truly superhero’s in disguise from every porter, cleaner, kitchen staff member to each nurse, doctor and consultant you are all the magical cogs that make any scary experience seem effortless and accomplishable. Always clean and full of smiles. Parking could be better but I think this goes for most places in all honesty! Thank you

Children's A&E was dirty, toilets were worse than any public toilet, many of the clinical staff were wearing too much jewellery, some had dirty shoes, and far too many of them did not observe good hand hygiene, very poor basics. Shocked at the poor standards.

I was only in the hospital to collect my daughter and granddaughter after she had a fall and hurt her neck but the staff were welcoming, helpful, kind and smiling. A credit to the NHS. They all said a lovely goodbye to my 2 year old granddaughter and she was in great spirits

Absolutely brilliant hospital. My son came here twice for two surgeries. One surgery was to put in a stent for his heart and the other was open heart surgery. He was seen to very quickly and the nurses were amazing, he was on Dolphin ward both times, I couldn’t fault the nurses at all. They were all friendly, very polite and understanding. I knew my son was safe in their care. Thank you so so much for everything you did!

We had a stay there last week with our 8 year old son. He was rushed in with acute appendicitis and needed surgery. The staff were amazing at the hospital. From the reception team, to the auxiliaries to the nurses and surgeons. Everyone was as attentive and communicative as they could be and dealt with our son's operation incredibly well ( even though he had to wait due to sheer volume of extreme emergencies rolling in after him). We're so lucky to have this paediatric hospital within 20 mins drive from our house.
