They were very gentle when they handcuffed me and the police cars are incredibly roomy. Overall, very professional. Will get arrested by them again, for sure.

I’m not one to leave a review for anything but the actions of a few of the officers tonight have inspired me to do so. My girlfriend suffers with severe anxiety and was stuck in the middle of a crowd on St. James’s street, she was having a panic attack and needed help, I couldn’t come to her rescue because I didn’t have a wrist band, one of the officers told me to show him a picture and assured me he would find her, I did not think for a second he would manage to find one person in a sea of thousands of party goers off the back of one picture but sure enough a couple minutes later he showed up holding my girlfriends hand and was escorting her to safety. A lot can be said about police as a whole but on this night the Brighton feds have really done there bit. Fair play lads and ladetts top specimens.

I fully support these officers and have a lot of respect for them i have encountered them a few times and found them to be highly professional in all aspects. When i have been stopped by police i have been polite and courteous towards officers and i have received the same back. I really do not understand people constantly moaning about The Police when they might require their assistance one day.

Rude staff. I was looking for a specific department, and there was a reception like place + another long queue for general things. I asked the ?receptionist “if I am at the correct building “ She said “Can you queue please”. I was like “But maybe this is the wrong queue, I don’t know the exact department, where are the registrations?”. (Based on experience, they made me wait at the wrong queue many times). Instead of simply saying “yes correct place, you can wait in the queue” she was so rude and told me off shouting “can you just wait in the queue”! I wonder if this is only against immigrants or a general issue but they should get a training about how to lead people. Shame you can’t do anything to these. I wish a senior or a manager reads this comment at a point.

Do not, like me, get assaulted and a limb broken by a jogger on the sea front. Do not go to the seafront. The chances of being smashed by a powered scooter, one wheeler or TdF biker are extremely high. Don't try to cross the road at a designated crossing. Police are dreadful and did absolutely nothing for me. All over the phone. No police station. Patronising in the extreme. Not fit for purpose. Tony Madden
