I lost all trust in them due to regular failure in provision of service. GPS who are unconcerned with listening and who are insulting in their manner. Making it very difficult to tell them what's wrong when every time they speak they tell me I use up to much time. I got upset and tears because I wasn't being listened to and asked them not to waste time continually telling me about time. They ignored my request and I got no benefit from the appointment. Another GP when I asked about being able to get my script a couple of days early because I work in the South through the week, told me that it wasn't his problem and all he was supposed to do was issue the script not make sure I get it. He digested someone else pick it up and refused to listen when I tried to explain that wouldn't help as that would still leave me without meds for a couple of days. He made it clear it was my problem when I was naturally frustrated. Took me 45 mins to stop crying after I hung up and no resolution. I actually missed a number of doses over weekends so that I would have enough buffer to cover me during the week. The final straw was when one of the receptionists failing to correctly listen to a question and become irritated with me when I attempted to clarify what I was asking. She also stopped dealing with me because she was sure she was right. And she then ignored me and began speaking to the next people in the queue who had not stayed back behind the line and did not give me privacy for my discussion. She did nothing to protect my privacy. This is prior to the privacy screens being installed. Having a mental illness I was unable to control my emotions. Their behaviour increased my anxiety and even though I didn't threaten anyone, my voice got loud as it does when faced with such situations. I even said that it must be my fault for not being clear when I asked the question. By this time I was in tears and quite distraught. I was issued a warning. But not provided with any help or the information I actually needed. These issues continued until I made a formal complaint. When I told them I had lost all trust in the service they provide, rather than answer my complaint, I got a letter in the post informing me that I was removed from the surgery. There is no oversight on GP provision unfortunately, by removing me, they removed the complaint.
