Huge area, so even though it was a busy Sunday there was still plenty to work on. Good colouring system and loads of routes to try. Spent nearly two hours here and still had a lot to try, and while I'm not an expert there was a good amount of challenging problems and loads more to work towards. Excellent progression as well, found some great climbs that really tested me.

1/ 5

I’m new to climbing and on Friday it was my second time visiting Boulder Brighton. The first visit was enjoyable and the staff was lovely. However, on Friday I happened to be served by a man, I think one of the duty managers, who did not listen and had an abrupt manner. It was unnecessary and rude. It would improve the customer experience if he stayed away from face to face customer service and managed the centre from a distance during his shift. Also one of the walls was cordoned off for an update which wasn’t mentioned on the website. I wouldn’t have gone if I had known. Why cannot the changes to the walls be done when the centre is closed? Boulder Brighton doesn’t seem like a well run place.

Really great, all the staff are lovely people there in general are nice. Routes from 1a to competition routrs(v hard) that get changed regularly so climbing doesn't get stale even if you go every week. Easiest 5 star of my life :)

I had a great time here, the staff were super helpful and real welcoming. The centre itself is clean, modern and spacious. Really enjoyed the routes and the little bouldering areas. Would really strongly recommend! Have not visited the café but cakes looked well lush. Also really cool idea to have the right rope, enjoyed having a try.

Great positive staff on reception especially happy Harry. Fun and invigorating place only fault is the music. I love all types of music but the music was not working for me. I understand there is a Spotify group which registered members and staff can add to. My visit as I'm new to bouldering would have been greatly enhanced by music because everything is better with music

Great place to climb. There was clear markings on the floor to where you can go. The video is useful, so watch it before you go. My eldest likes to go to Boulder as and when he can There is a cafe there if you need food or food.

It's the only dedicated bouldering spot in Brighton but it's a good one! Great for all levels. Gets quite busy at popular times (e.g. right after working hours) but it's a big gym.

The facilities are good and the people going there are super friendly, like most climbing gyms. My issue is the staff near closing time. I have worked service jobs before and I know people want to go home, but at the same time people also pay full price for a service and receive less. Staff starts sweeping/mopping/polishing the floor at 21:30 they often stop playing music and the overall feeling is a nudge to leave before you session is even over. Unless the employer is not paying people to close the business after the sessions are over in a timely fashion I don't see why this is done this way. I see peopke slipping on freshly mopped floor with no warning sign near it. Truly horrible customer experience.

5/ 5

Great bouldering gym that houses a surprisingly large amount of problems. At least one of the walls is updated each Monday so if you go once a week there should always be fresh routes to try. It’s all very covid safe and the staff are really friendly. One of the best things about it is the huge range of difficulties of the routes which enables you to always be learning as opposed to some gyms where there is quite a gulf between the ones you can do and the ones you’d never be able to even start!
