Food was fab....well played and the right portion. I had the sea bass with salad... it was pan fried, and the skin was perfectly crispy! My husband had the striploin, which he really liked as well.... It's such a great location too..... perfect for a lazy day at the beach, with the carat cafe right beside

Great location. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, meat and veggie, on a wet and windy Sunday morning sitting in the conservatory watching the waves. Worth a visit.

Proper local cafe, done well. Very popular destination, wholesome food delivered swiftly. Great walking destination. After a particularly long walk Carats becomes even more welcoming. There is a local beach if you fancy a paddle. Rake the road out the back and head towards Shoreham harbour locks.

Sadly not what it once was...used to be a great breakfast spot, now it's a very overpriced cafe that has views but nothing to back it up. The interior is tired, scruffy, the menu unchanged and extremely over priced. £23 for two breakfasts and drinks for what was served is poor far better value and service elsewhere. The fact you are a captive market allows them to continue. Only just cooked fatty bacon, transport cafe sausages. Most of the plate was filled with greasy mushrooms that must have been cooked in a fryer whole, toast cooked on one side without any butter. Polished our own cutlery and wiped out own table, staff running around shouting orders and ignoring tables full of dirty plates. Coffee flavour was out of the 90s. Need to look at what other places serve for £8.50!!

Really good service and superb full English breakfast. They even do a roast on Sunday. I love the location too. Great spot for a walk along the seafront or easy parking if you are driving. Nicely tucked away of the beaten track and terrific views right on beach front. Well worth a visit

We love Carats cafe, a recent addition to our list of favourite cafes. Although rather out of the way and unseen from the road it is always very busy so has plenty of local support. There is a wide range of breakfast and lunch menus and cakes and other sweet treats. This place also does Sunday roast (including vegetarian) and is licenced.

Found this place by chance whilst out looking at car. Cannot fault the service or quality of what we had. Be aware they charge for extras even toasting a sandwich. They use a good sausage.

4/ 5

A very popular cafe on the beach side of Shoreham docks, it right on the beach and surfing and kite surfing can be viewed on any day that the wind is blowing on shore. The car park is expensive and even blue badge holders have to pay.. Sunday lunches are particularly popular and good value.... Edo.
