Spent over £2500 on products for the installation of an en-suite. Firstly they delivered the wrong shower valve, then the wrong extractor fan, then not enough tiles and we were subsequently told the tile company had gone into administration. Have now spent 3 days waiting to hear if they have any tiles in stock, if not whole bathroom will have to be started again. Total disaster.

Bath Bathstore got deposit from us with the promise of returning it in 24 days. It took us 4 months to get our money back and we had to go to the store for four times and also called many times. The manager disappeared and no one else helped. Although we were planning to buy from them (we wanted our money back because our project got longer than we thought to start), we are not going to buy from them. Do not give any deposit to them, you will not get it back that easily!

The in-store 'designers' know nothing about plumbing or interiors, we and the plumbers had to call the store 6-9 times in a row before anyone answered - every time - but it mostly went to a BT answerphone message. The wrong items were delivered and many items were cracked - this delayed the bathroom by a few weeks and the company does not want to give money back - they are not interested in taking any products back and they struggled to find the items they had taken from our house - we had to chase to get the money back. Despite a couple of well intentioned employees - one department just passes you onto another who passes you back - again and again. All in all - it would have been best to buy products myself from a different supplier and to have found a good plumbing/building company to do it.
