Booked in for a couple's spa day, and have had a lovely day! We arrived an hour before our treatments and were greeted at reception with a friendly welcome and given a short tour of the facilities. We spent some time in the jacuzzi and steam room, and then made our way to the spa area. The two masseurs were very informative and professional, and our back, neck & shoulder massages and scalp massages were wonderfully relaxing. The changing facilities were very spacious and clean, with plenty of showers and hairdryers available. Overall, a great day out and we will certainly be back! 🙂

Lots of the same machines so not a great selection, speaking to a member he said 11 machines had been removed to make way for the cardio sledge which is now an ornament and never used.Didn't see much cleaning of machines by members and absolutely none by staff who were noticeable by their absence. Cafe bar only serving drinks due to no staff in the kitchen, saw a few people attempting to buy food who all left without even bothering with a drink

Booked for our anniversary. So disappointed. No towels on arrival. What spa has no towels! They had to scrat around for some. Some very small ones appeared. Men thinking it's okay to have a wash in the jacuzzi and jump straight into pool after being in steam room without showering. Disgusting! Letting 7 year oldish kid in the sauna, steam room and jaccuzi! Nothing against children but it states 16 and above for a reason. No staff checking up on this. Expected to be together in dual room for treatment to be put in separate rooms. No relaxation area to be told that's why the Blackpool Bannantyne is cheaper. I don't think 170 quid is cheap! Massage not up to standard as at previous Bannantynes. Would never return!

They have rules re covid but no staff except the female cleaner can be bothered to make sure these are kept. Staff are really busy behind the counter chatting or on their mobile phones to occasionally walk through and check how many are in the sauna, steam room etc to try to keep customers safe.
