An amazing shop...comprising of Vintage finds and formal wear. Shop team very helpful , particularly Carol, who was extremely knowledgeable regarding all aspects of stock. Can't wait to pay a repeat visit the next time we are in Oxford !

You can find some interesting things in here. Can be pricey, but it is absolutely worth a rummage. Would be four stars however the service is still hit and miss depending on who is working that day. The newer , younger staff are much friendlier and less haughty. Definitely worth a visit though.

Large selection of dresses at a good price. Good idea to call them for an appointment if planning to visit on Saturday as it gets very busy... especially around prom or Christmas!

Thank you Ballroom Emporium. After my daughter’s first prom dress not fitting 2days before Prom. You accommodated us at short notice and and had a dress altered and ready for Monday collection. What was a stressful period, you took all the worry away. Thank you

Dreadfully poor customer service bordering on rude. I assume this must have been the owner as you would not employ someone so rude with a very obvious lack of customer service skills. She must rely on her staff to generate custom as we would not return again sadly. We were weekend visitors to Oxford and stumbled upon the shop while walking around the city, and thought it looked an interesting shop. I'm sorry that we made a purchase and should have spent our money elsewhere in the city. Disappointing...Everywhere else we visited in Oxford the staff were so helpful and friendly.

I needed a dress for a 1920s themed party and headed to the Ballroom Emporium without calling or knowing much about it. Turns out, they prefer that you have an appointment, but did oblige me in my quest for a period dress. Happily, I found a becoming frock and am ready to go. The woman who helped me was courteous and, well, helpful!
