Naughty little proposition at Brighton Station. Let’s face it, if you spend a lot of time at the station - it’s by far and away the best food option. Always clean, efficient and at least 90% likely to be extremely tasty.

Hot salt beef with pickles in an onion bagel. A tasty and warm bite. They slice it in half for you too making it easier to eat on the train. The bagels start from £3.99 upwards. Made very quickly!

Not a place I would frequent again after eating their smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, their mean skimpy filling of a slither of smoked salmon on a thick base of cream cheese is over priced at £5+ on a tough bagel. Their hot chocolate had a taste and aroma of perfume, an unpleasant drink that we had to leave. In fact the bagel repeated itself for several hours later.

My partner and I have a tradition that we started during the various 'lock-downs' to walk every morning by the seafront. It's a nice, healthy tradition, and a grand way to start the day. We also added another tradition, Bagel-Fridays. On our Friday walk, we always swing by the Brighton Station's Bagelman and order Lox Omelette Bagels for our Friday breakfast. This has made Friday the BEST walk-day of the week, in my opinion. The bagels at Bagelman are always the perfect lovely-chewy-bready mess that bagels should be.... The members of staff are efficient, quick and friendly. It's a wonderful little shop that makes wonderful little round pieces of doughy-heaven.

Nice staff and quick service, but the vegan BLT was not worth £5.25 in my opinion. The house-made seitan and vegan mayo were bland and the bagel didn't have much taste. Also, it's disappointing that the vegan option is more expensive than the meat BLT (with bacon).

Amazing Bagels for a fair price. Beware of the seagulls though! They are quite aggressive. You can’t really sit outside if you don’t pay close attention to your food. If you want to take a quick picture of your food, the seagull is already on its way. The staff is helpful by telling you that before you sit outside.
