Maybe it's because I don't have any childhood memories associated with it, and I visited on a freezing foggy day when everything was shut, but I don't get the big deal about Brighton Pier. I can imagine that in the summer it's wonderfully tacky (and BUSY) - vanilla ice cream, fish & chips, kids on fairground rides, etc. But it isn't something I'll go out of my way to visit next time I'm in Brighton.

These were ok but not the usual high standard that we are used to. The prices are reasonable if you buy a larger quantity. Some of the donuts and chirros were broken, and they seemed a bit dry. A machine is producing the donuts continuously and the chirros are being fried once you place your order, so should be fresher than they tasted.
