Went in for a Mot and they failed it and wanted to charge £700 for all the repairs and so went for a second opinion @Terrys Ltd and he did the job for £350 and got way more done for that price. Ashwells tried to over charged said that my indicators were the wrong colour which they weren’t. Said that my windscreen wipers weren’t sufficient when they were the ones that fitted them on. I asked them to fix my wheel arch and they didn’t do it then put it on my Mot. Terrys fitted a brand new exhaust, fixed my brake holes and my parking brake and all 3 CV boots and additionally without me asking he changed all my fluids, put new wheel caps on, fixed my wheel arch and my wing mirror and pulled out all my dents without charging me extra.

Very impressed with Ashwell motors, kept me fully updated every step of the way about what needed to be done and exactly how much it would cost. Friendly, efficient service and good value for money. Thank you very much!

Ashwell Motors repaired my Ford Focus while I was staying in Liverpool for just 2 nights, and went the extra mile to get the required parts as quickly as possible so I could get home on time. Life savers these guys at Ashwell Motors. As a taxi driver in the area its hard to get work done on the flu I must have been lucky to get the work done I need so fast and get me back out working as if my car isn't moving I am not earning. Will highly recommend these guys a million times over. Finding a reliable mechanic is difficult, especially as a young woman, I find I get taken advantage of, and that's what happened here. I got an MOT, which failed on 2 things another garage has passed me on, and got a quote for an oil leak over £450. I got a quote for the same thing, a new MOT, labour etc etc included for £180. They seemed nice, so gutted to find out they were taking advantage. Got VERY well taken care of at Gemini Service Centre on Parr St. Would highly recommend them, Ashwell Motors may be fine for some, but if you don't know much about cars, be aware that they won't be quoting a genuine cost.

On holiday visiting family and friends, my car had a problem, one of the tires popped and whatever it was damaged my brakes and suspension. They arranged vehicle pick up, and quickly and professionally fixed my car as to bit impact my holiday too much. Very thankful for their proffesional service! On the plus was cheaper then I thought too!
