Ranges seem to have shrunk and quality of fruit and veg gone down. Mostly nice staff. Lady on kiosk particularly helpful. Her supervisor, on the other hand, young lad,was lazy and disinterested. Waited 15 mins to be served. Only customer there! Eventually he said yes, then walked off to just stand in the corner next tills doing nothing.

It's the closest supermarket for me and that's the only reason I'm doing my quick shopping there. Food quality is poor. Veggies, fish or chicken goes off very quickly. You really need to check everything carefully before buying otherwise you'll end up throwing away half of the food right after opening. The staff is nice and polite though.

Was told by "manager?" that the checkout tills are only for trollys!! So does that mean that everyone with baskets has to use self serve or lottery /cigs till? I was told it is Asda policy for Penny Lane Store....yet up to last week i have always used checkout tills with my basket shopping. I tried to complain to head office, but will only pass on complaints and wont have 2 way conversation, as to how complain materialises. So I had to wait in long queue at Lottery to pay for items, whilst casheir closed her checkout and nobody was on any of the other checkout tills. Poor Asda customer service, when manager? in green t-shirt could have sorted it all out by going on till himself! But that is Asda for you.

Easy shopping at Asda Express. No queues in or at the tills. Ideal for an urgent couple of things.
