Appealing Properties have been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Damien has always been a pleasure to deal with , I would highly recommend.

Very poor service, unprofessional and disgusting customer service from Katie Glover who I found very rude and dismissive of mine and my family’s needs. Can I ask if this employee is Arla qualified so I can report to them?

We have been using Appealing Properties to manage and rent our property now for over three years. I have found Damian and the team extremely helpfully and very courteous whenever I have needed to make contact. I have found them to take our tenants, and also our needs as landlords at the forefront of their priorities. Highly recommended letting agent. A***

We've rented a managed property from appealing properties for two years now and right from day one we have been impressed with their promptness and professionalism. We arranged the viewings twice and both time Damian was there before time (unlike other experiences where we were made to wait for the agent to show up). Since that day we had a great experience with appealing properties. Every time we have an issue with anything in the property they are just a call away to arrange someone to fix it. We would highly recommend appealing properties.

Never had any issues with Appealing Properties. Our first experience was being shown round a property and the agent was professional, courteous, helpful and had great knowledge of the property - extremely rare in my experience of viewings with other letting agents. The process was mostly quick and painless, we were updated throughout and have had no issues with them since signing 9 months ago. We've (so far) never been pestered by them nor had any major problems with the letting. Can certainly recommend these guys.

Damian and the team at Appealing properties have been amazing from super quick turnaround on good tenants to dealing with electrical certificates and getting keys cut. They are always professional whilst being friendly and supportive. Excellent reliable agency that care about the landlords and tenants.

Initial review was not so positive as my first experience wasn't so great. However, after managing to talk to the office and understand the reasonings with why the situation happened the way it did. They've been friendly and managed to rearrange to what convenience me and have been super friendly about the whole siutation.

They will repeatedly enter your rented property without giving 24 hours notice or gaining permission from you. They took over one year to repair a basic problem. Very poor and by far the worst service I've received in York from a lettings agency. Best avoided. Edit in reply to your response: Naturally it' very disappointing to see your response. Entering tenants homes without giving 24 hours notice should come as no surprise as it was initiated by a manager in one instance. I have emailed you directing you to evidence for this. I've also described other inappropriate behaviours by Appealing Properties, for example when my tenancy started and I was told that marks and scratches are considered fair wear and tear, but when I left then I was charged for marks and scratches. Not acceptable. I'd recommend that you spend more time proving an actual five star service as you claim, and less time trying to manage your online reputation by blaming ex staff.

We were very apprehensive about having to move during the current crisis, but Damian made it a seamless process and we can't thank him enough! He was very accommodating and really went above and beyond to help us get our perfect flat! A very reassuring, friendly and quick response service, couldn't recommend enough!

Having finished my tenancy with appealing properties I have mixed opinions about my time and how situations were dealt with. I never had a problem with any of the employees who worked there, with the majority being lovely and very pleasant. I also liked the way AP stored my deposit which was taken, using a third party which specialised in this. Throughout my stay there were occasions where promises were made and not kept as well as times where I thought the way other tenants were treated may not have been reasonable. As well as this, I had been asked to pay unnecessary fees alongside noticing further inconsistencies in my contract and the advert prior to signing. I moved into a rented room in a house which already had conflict between tenants and understand this put AP in a hard position so appreciate efforts which were made, and acknowledge they are not solely responsible for a lot of the issues I encountered whilst staying in this property .
