Had a great visit with the family. Kids loved being in board and looking around the old Whaling ship Cheyne IV. The 3D movie is dated, but quirky and interesting all the same. Make sure to make some time to visit the Wildlife Park and have a look around the garden. The Cafe is very good quality with an amazing view of the bay. Need at least 2hrs to do it justice. We also bought a great Southern ticket from the visitor centre in Albany and saved 10% This allows access to the Land of the Giants, ANZAC museum and the Whaling Station.

This place is a real Australian history lesson and one that makes me happy that we now protect these amazing creatures of the ocean. I've never been to anything like this place, so l was excited to see it. The whaling station and ship is wonderfully set out to show you exactly what it was like throughout the early 1900's. The buildings, cinema shows, skeletons, and whaling ship are very well preserved & presented. I really enjoyed walking throughout each level/area of the boat. Fantastic day out. Highly recommended. Concession adult entry was $29.

A great attraction which has all the history still there and put to good use. Loved all the videos and equipment used back in the day. Could walk around the deck of the Cheynes 1V but couldn't get down stairs as closed. Lovely setting and Cafe was great for lunch after our tour.
