I attended A&E on Friday 3rd December. I had injured my shoulder. Triage nurse was great with me and reassuring. I have to pay particular tribute to the nurse practitioner who saw me in minors. Cath is her name. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Her patient and clinical skills are second to non and we ended up laughing during the consultation. She really helped me to feel at ease. Great to be treated as a human being and not just another patient to get through the system. I can't thank her enough. I hope she sees this review.

Excellent care by the staff and extremely knowledgeable but let down by lack of equipment which is most likely the reason for high wait times. Another likely issue caused from upper management cuts. Staff dont deserve anything less than 5 stars though

I am in ward 21 podiatry, at this present moment in time I am not in a good way but there is no other place I would rats her be .from the surgeons down through the doctors and the nursing staff to the podiatry staff, a great bunch of dedicated specialists, I WOULD g recommend them. An update to my review I wrote *there is no other place I would rather be * there are no rats there. I forgot to mention the one surgeon who did all my operations, he battled for many months to save my right foot and it was successful, I may possibly have my left foot off and I have every faith in the surgeons here now .Mr Butcher has gone to live in Scotland now so good luck to you and your lady.

WORST HOSPITAL EVER, I had a stroke several years ago managed to drag myself to hospital as it was only down the road from me, spent over 5 hours in a+e without seeing anyone before i got someone to take me home. complete waste of real estate, the staff are surly and do not listen to patients nor do they check on the poor sods stuck in there you check in and your left to your own devices. it would be more use to the community if it were demolished and turned into a hole in the ground. the only reason i give it one star is because you cannot leave NO STAR
