We paid for a gender scan at the Falkirk Clinic at 17 weeks Gestation and then had a 4D scan at the Glasgow clinic at around 28 weeks Gestation. On Both occasions, the ‘hand picked sonographers’ were confident that we were having a baby Girl and even showed us detail on the scans that apparently confirmed this. You can imagine our surprise when a Beautiful Baby born arrived mid July! We are absolutely delighted that we have been fortunate enough to become parents again to a healthy baby and we are also aware that Gender scanning is not 100% accurate and signed a disclaimer accepting this. There is an ‘inconclusive’ option that the sonographer can use if they are not 100% sure which makes this situation all the more frustrating. We have lost a significant amount of money purchasing items for a baby girl, not to mention the psychological impact that this has had. We are extremely disappointed at the way that ABC4D have handled this situation. We contacted them to make them aware of what had happened and were told that they take ‘complaints and negative feedback very seriously’ and that the situation would be looked into. We received a pretty generic and naive email reply from their Director, Brian Williamson a week later, basically outlining how great the business are, that it is operated by a consultant, they invest in the latest technology and how everyone is handpicked....not exactly relevant to us considering what has happened?! I rang ABC4D within 10 minutes of receiving the email from Mr Williamson in order to speak to him and was told that he was busy and he would ring me back. I have since left another 3 messages for him to contact me over the past 3 weeks and I am still waiting on a reply, not exactly the Customer Service of a Business who take complaints and negative feedback very seriously! Happy to take your money but don’t have the decency to treat people correctly when things go wrong. Disappointed is an understatement, total disgrace.

The staff are lovely, they even wrote a little message for my daughter on one of the scans which she absolutely loved. The building and the room were so clean. Would highly recommend.
