An exceptional fine dining experience, situated around the concept that there are 2 options for the first, third and fifth courses (hence the name). Our experience was delightful, as we both had a five course meal with wine. As a highlight, the main course of pork tenderloin was beautifully slow cooked and finished off in a pan. Unobtrusive service and an excellent selection of wines cap an amazing experience.

Really amazing and interesting food. Great wine, fab service. Great night out. Ie.. tomato and potato soup, where the tomato is a foam and the potato the finest creamed potato ever, with a most juicy miniature and slightly orangey whole tomato on top.. you are in for a treat. The other food was also amazing but this one stuck out in my mind. Brilliant! Coming again

5/ 5

Lovely evening with wife and youngest daughter, high curving Georgian Edinburgh Crescent on the side of Carlton Hill with views across the Forth, beautifully evocative room with ambience and courteous able staff. The 21212 concept really works, tasty and delightful visual and gustatory surprises, felt pleasantly satisfied after each of the five courses and the little surprises in between. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Wonderful dinner. Perfect service and really interesting food with perfectly matched wine. The best in Edinburgh as far as we are concerned. Service was speedy and professional. Small and intimate dinning room. We will be back again as soon is we can arrange it. Well done to all the staff.
