Really enjoyed our pre Theatre meal, service was great considering they were full. Food was great as usual. The restaurant is just down the street from the Palace Theatre so great position if you are visiting The Palace Theatre.

Overpriced pizza that was slightly under-cooked. When we tole our server, they took mine away and said they would sort it. Took 25 minutes to come back out and the rest of my group had finished!!! They even had the cheek to offer to put it in a box so I could take it away!! Wont be back!

Having had a nightmare of time with lost phone, staff couldn't have been more helpful and helped me recover it. They even kept my pizza warm and bags safe whilst I ran across Manchester to retrieve it. THANK YOU so much.

My family and I booked online here, deliberately selecting the option for "quick pre-theatre bite" at the time of booking, as we were due to see a performance of Hairspray at the Palace Theatre next door at 19:30. We booked for 18:00pm, and arrived at 17:50. The restaurant was extremely busy, and our table hadn't been prepared yet, but having eaten here at similarly busy times previously, this didn't overly concern us. Sadly, however, the service on this occasion was poor. After an initial long wait for our order to be taken, we waited almost half an hour for our starters to arrive and, whilst the food was excellent and piping hot as usual, the wait had started to concern us. When we politely mentioned to our waitress that we had booked for a pre-theatre meal and that we would need to leave by 19:15pm at the latest, and asked her whether it sould please be possible for our mains to arrive in time for this to happen, her response was a quite nonchalant "yes there are lots of people here tonight who are going to the theatre too", and she promptly walked off. With the time then being 18:40, we were very concerned that we would not make it to the theatre on time. We then overheard another customer requesting to see the manager as they too had only had their starters in 1hr and a quarter of being there, and they would have to pay their bill and leave. This was dealt with by the staff, but only made our concerns increase, and one of our party too requested to speak to the manager, who assured her that our Pizzas were going in the oven now and would be ready in 10 minutes. At 18:55, a different member of staff came over to tell us that our Pizzas were on their way, that they were going to produce our bill immediately to facilitate us leaving on time and that they were going to knock 50% off our bill. At 19:03 our Pizzas arrived. Luckily we were able to throw our food down our necks quickly enough to make it to the Theatre on time, but we had to eat far more hastily than we would have liked to be comfortable. When the bill arrived, the 50% had indeed been removed, and we paid in a hurry and left, with our initial waitress more-or-less completely ignoring us whilst taking payment, and leaving the option to add a gratuity on the card machine, which further disappointed us given the staff knew how frustrated we had been by the service. In addition to this, we had to request our copy of the receipt, which the waitress had not offered to us and had left on an empty table behind us. Overall, despite the food being excellent as usual, the service on this occasion was not, and only served to increase our anxiety over whether or not we would be able to make it to the Theatre on time. Sadly this experience will now make us question using this branch in future.

Poor overall experience. Food was cold, with undercooked pasta. Everyone else had the same experience with small portions. It took about an hour to receive our order. One of my friends who is a vegetarian had pepperoni on her pasta after she explicitly asked for no meat. The manager on shift was the only redeeming thing about the restaurant being helpful sorting out the issues.
