I have never been to a night club with such aggressive security. I was attacked outside by one who refused to give me his name and badge number. Whilst not obliged to give me this information they should clearly display their license. Neither of two doormen were. He took my phone off me and threatened to snap it in half. Such aggression was completed unwarranted and several girls outside complained they had experienced similar behaviour and that many people were complaining about him. I will be complaining direct to management and the relevant security licensing authorities. Avoid this place.

Never again will I set foot in Mint lounge after being kicked in the stomach by a bouncer! I went to Mint lounge on Friday with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. When you arrive at a club you expect the bouncers to make you feel comfortable when entering, this is not the case here! Both bouncers were extremely rude, laughing at me when I thought I had lost my ID, was extremely intimidating and making sarcastic comments! I found my id and was let into the club, I enjoyed being in there and thought the staff inside the club were friendly however, when leaving the smoking area to go back inside mint, one of the bouncers shouted ‘move’ repeatedly to me whilst pushing me out of the club and through a door which led to the back ally of the club. I was left in absolute shock by the professionalism of the bouncer and went to the front of the club to confront them about why I had been dealt with like this. When confronting the bouncers as to why I had been kicked out, one of the bouncers kicked me directly in the stomach which led me to fly into the road and fall onto the floor - luckily there was no oncoming traffic!! I advise anyone thinking of going to mint lounge to think otherwise as not only did this place ruin my birthday night out but I also left with a bruised back and thighs due to the vile employees aka bouncers. The bouncers at mint lounge have no respect for customers who are paying their wage and they should have their security license taken away. I hope this review entices people to not visit mint lounge and my friends and I will never be returning!!

Had a good NYE with some friends although one of my friends had a terrible experience. Elliott Moore took a liking to a very pretty girl and things seemed to be going well so he thought he'd get his new friend a drink. After ordering his drinks at the bar poor Elliott Moore had his perfectly functional card reject, right infront of his new companion. Elliot Moore has assured me that he has lots and lots of money so it couldn't be due to a lack of funds. He was distraught and she walked, he has lost her forever. It has ruined his start to 2018 and mine as he won't stop going on about it.

The bouncers were really rude and dismissive. I understand they are dealing with a lot of people but it doesn't harm to be polite. I tried to explain my situation and was not allowed into the club purely because I was drinking a lucozade to keep my blood sugar up - I'm diabetic. The bouncer physically pushed me out of the queue and refused to listen 3 times! Also, when my friend was punched in the face, the bouncers did not break up the fight and instead laughed at him. Shame was really looking forward to going.

This club employed bouncers who are beyond disgusting. The club clearly states on the website that there is no dress code but because once out of the five girls I was with was wearing waterproof cargos we were refused entry. We had already bought our ticket and approached the door to be let in. The bouncers refused saying trackies were not allowed. We asked to speak to a manger and they said no one higher than them were at the club. One bouncer approached my friend on the street saying you’ve started on the wrong guy. A professional starting on a young woman trying to enter a club she paid entry to. How embarrassing of him. As soon as we started to record he backed away. When will bouncers with their tragic masculinity stop being put in positions of authority when peoplw are doing nothing other than trying to enjoy their night, willing to spend money at venues that treat them with nothing than disrespect. We bought our tickets on Skiddle which clearly states if we are refused entry then the venue has to refund us on the spot. We were not refunded and no one from the management team was available to speak to us.

Bouncer refused entry for three of us for finishing our drink prior to joining the queue so I wasn't even on their premises. Furthermore, the drink was just a coke and didn't even contain any alcohol. The bouncers laughed in my face, were rude and dismissive, we pre-bought tickets and can't even get a refund. The bouncer told me to take it up with skiddle and according to their terms and conditions they aren't responsible for an incompetent security team so can't grant me a refund. I highly encourage everyone to avoid this club, and judging by the unprofessional managements replies on their google reviews, I can see why its one of the lowest rated clubs in Manchester.

Nowhere in the lead up to my arriving at the bar did this place bother to inform me they only take card. All the way from Blackpool, tickets booked for a couple of months, absolutely ruined my night. Never again. Edit - to counter your pathetic excuse of a response. For the last 18 months I've been cooped up at home like most people, in a national lockdown. As stated I'd come from Blackpool, where cash is still legal tender. What a joke. Surprisingly, when I told people what a disappointment the night had been, they mostly responded with "let me guess, the sound was pony " so not the only issues you face as a club, clearly. Incompetence is obviously your thing.
