Booked a dinner reservation for three people at Brasserie Abode restaurant. Firstly, there was a long delay in us being seated. Secondly, the food was absolutely horrid. As in, I'm not sure there was a chef or any culinary experience in that kitchen. We were served stale and overcooked food. The steak was chewy and impossible to cut (this was after sending it back to be redone). Mind you the steak was ordered medium well. The chips (fries) had clearly been sitting out for quite a while. The linguine was clumpy and the fish in the linguine just tasted off. The only reason I'm not giving a one-star rating was the staff. They were friendly and somewhat accommodating but I will never be eating here again.

4/ 5

Relaxed dining. Group of 4 on a Monday. Service was friendly and efficient until we wanted the bill, but overall fine. Large wine list and acceptable beer selection. Food was mainly pub classics done modern. Burger was very tasty and beef of good quality. Worth the higher price than many other places. Other meals were also described as tasty and enjoyable. Overall enjoyable and left a positive impression of the hotel.
