Just a warning to others who might be looking at booking here - we chose to do the right thing and stay home during the latest Sydney outbreak and rang to see if we could change the date of our one night booking. The person I spoke to was very unhelpful and said it was a non-refundable booking. I explained repeatedly that I was not asking for a refund but to change dates. After 'checking with the owner' I got a call back to again be told this wasn't possible (?) despite pointing out that transferring our booking would free up 2 rooms on a busy weekend and leave them possibly better off. I was even told our address showed we weren't in one of the hotspot LGAs so it was our problem. A completely unnecessary and petty reaction when so many of us are being forced to change travel plans, and the only time in 18 months I've run into such unpleasantness.
