Love to see when a new owner takes things to the next level. We stayed for just two nights and were greeted by what felt like ‘old friends.’ The staff were so lovely and warm, even to the point where they joined us one night for a drink - it was great getting to know them. You could see the work that had been put in by the new team and hearing about some of the future plans has us looking forward to our next visit - hard to believe they had only taken over in February. This is certainly what you call a couples spa retreat. The rooms are well appointed, with some ‘interesting’ reflective choices (hence couple’s retreat 😉) and the spa was divine. The grounds are very well looked after and the views are just stunning. When we arrived we had every intention to go back and explore Denmark, however we couldn’t pull ourselves away from the deck’s view and the spa. Speaking of, make sure you pamper yourself to a spa treatment on your stay, it was certainly another highlight of our trip. Wish we could have stayed longer, but gives us something to look forward to when we return later in the year.

What a find…! The warmth and friendliness of this place is to behold. The team take this to the next level. It is my understanding that it has had a change of ownership recently and in the short time the team have done wonders. I can not wait to see the place after planned upgrades. Currently you will find a beautiful small hotel with a stunning vista and gorgeous gardens. The rooms are comfortable if not a little tired. The huge bed was so comfortable & linen was of a very high standard also the range of natural soaps and amenities is of a level I have never experienced before….The work they have planned will bring these to a very high standard. The real charm is the team…from owner to reception to the spa to housekeeping…… ever single interaction was warm friendly and respectful. Five stars

This is truly a gem! We had such a relaxing and romantic getaway at Chimes. Such a beautiful setting, very tranquil and calming, and really lovely customer service. I also highly recommend a massage or treatment at the Day Spa while you’re staying there too!

We chose to stay in the Chimes Signature Suite. A private, spacious split level suite; with king size bed on a mazzanine level and downstairs an open plan bathroom complete with double spa jacuzzi and double shower. The bed was very comfortable & linen was of a high standard with also a great range of natural soaps. We enjoyed the superb outlook to the ocean and inlet daily with our Continental breakfast. Denmark is situated in the heart of the Great Southern Wine Region, renown for its cool-climate wines and fresh produce served in the local restaurants. The area is stunningly beautiful with tall trees and the grounds are well looked after. An amazing place to stay with great staff. Their facilities also include a pool and day spa packages. #Officially_perth

We stayed 5 nights at Chimes and it was an absolutely amazing. The service was amazing, the room was amazing, the grounds, the everything. Lovely continental breakfast daily, complimentary sherry in the evening, complimentary cake in the afternoon. The owner is lovely to chat to, and so are the staff, the lady who was on when we were there was the perfect attentive host. The day spa was also beautiful, so relaxing and calm, then the platter we had afterwards, so filling! It was perfect for my 30th Birthday get away, I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else!
