Currys PC World Featuring Carphone Warehouse manchester

I went in to buy a washing machine and more or less knew what I wanted and the price. Took a few minutes to find a salesman but staff were very helpful. There was a bit of overkill in trying to get me to take out extended warranty which I didnt want and would cost £140 more. All in all a pleasant enough visit.

Got an amazing deal on a coffee machine. Sumaira and Alexis were very helpful and provided me with in depth information about the product, excellent service and a satisfied customer. Very happy with the product.

I went about 7pm and it took about 30 minutes to get help with the item I wanted to buy. The chap that served me was rude and not keen to explain what my consumer right was with regards to the product I bought. I had to specifically ask all the questions I needed to have answers before making payment. I guess the reason for his surly behaviour was that I declined to purchase the extra he tried selling to me. This is quite typical at Curry anyway, but have never been met with that kind of behaviour before if you declined. I will still go back as it always handy when you need to pick up items urgently.

Wanted some help with laptops, went early so not busy. 3 employees standing about talking not forthcoming. Eventually someone did help but not most persuasive advice I've ever had, left without a purchase.....

Reserved an item here as it was available to collect immediately in-store and unavailable at my local Curry’s store. Big mistake. Extremely incompetent staff at customer service. Furthermore looks like a store full of youth on a modern apprenticeship. Despite being heavily staffed unable to get any assistance without being directed from person to person. Will not be visiting again.

The lovely young lady who helped me was very helpful. the product I wanted was out off stock but she was able to find me something similar. She didn't try to force any extra up sales, but was very good when asked about products. So much more pleasant than dealing with some off the men in store they can be quite forceful with sales. Really good experience and it would be good to have more staff just like her ❤

Advisor ) no (and carried on walking) Me) can you see if anyone is free Advisor) yes (he looked around and said no some staff should be out shortly wait time is about 5 minutes (3 customers in store including me) A young lady appeared from no where advisor said he wants a sound bar ( incorrect I asked if I could listen too either of 1 the 2 on display (same model) that I couldn’t get to work) Me) I said I have probably pressed a wrong button so I will leave it to the experts (that’s a long way from factual she said 😳) I had the intention of spending either between £500 and £1200 on either LG or a Bose system I have never rated this store staff before but always felt the staff don’t care, I thought I’ll give it another go it will be new staff give them a chance 😡 I bought a lap top online off them around a month ago fortunately the customer service from the courier that delivered it was was second to none, maybe they could offer him a job managing this store because the staffs attitude certainly isn’t being monitored by management. I would have left a ZERO* if I could have DISAPPOINTED FROM A HUGE COMPANY !!

We bought my wife's new phone and the assistant was more than helpful. Delightful young man.

Great service and a variety of technology in store and online. Has Avery thing you need. Everything has a reasonable price and staff are helpful and kind. 🥳 I would definitely come back
