I really adore the Media City area. It's well maintained, and it feels a lot more relaxed when compared to the main city. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the Media City area.

Don't be fooled by the half price offer displayed all around the drinks tent. Its Monday to Friday only. Doesn't stipulate that o the posters. No manager to speak to to complain when charged full price. RIP off.

I live really close to Media City (I work close by) and I just love what they've done with the area. The whole place is well kept and maintained and you feel pretty safe walking around at night.

Great development of the former dock area at Salford. MediaCityUk consists of several buildings housing media and production companies together with apartments and residential blocks. The BBC and ITV have offices and production facilities here and tours are available for both areas. The plaza is a great place to chill out and soap up the atmosphere.

Very interesting place, if your a tv fan, this is where most its filmed. Liked it, not many places to eat

Good place to visit, even on a grey October day. Great regeneration work on the area. Lots of cafes & restaurants to service the workers & visitors at the businesses & events.

We went to see the Van Gogh experience, this was my second one, and while it was better in some ways, in others it was not so good. My main criticism is that the audience obscured the images whereas before we sat down and the images were projected as one 360 degree image around the walls ceiling and floor. Here there were multiple separate screens. And the audience mostly stood around so they obscured the images, also there was less animation and special effects which really brought the images to life. The mock up of his room as a place to have photos taken was great addition.

Always something going on here. Great space for wandering around, nice places to eat and the amazing Imperial War Museum North nearby. Likelihood of spotting Craig Charles high.

Exciting place to visit. It's got a buzz about it. Great for some night time photography too

Media city is a great place to be. There's lots going on and is quite picturesque. However i took my children to the ' I'm a celebrity jungle challenge' which is based here. I am disabled but i decided not to use my mobility scooter on this occasion because there is a tram stop right there. What a mistake that was! There were no signs directing to the place so i was forced to go around trying to find it on foot, something i haven't done for the past 20 months due to ill health. There was no one on the customer service desk to ask and nobody i asked had a clue either which building it was in. Finally we got there 30 minutes late for our slot and having arrived on the tram 15 minutes early. I was incredibly tired at this point as well as being in pain and all i wanted to do was sit inside and have a coffee. There was no seating suitable for people with disabilities. There were only tree logs and hammocks which both were very low. There were not backs to any of the seats or arm rests. I was in a foul mood by now and in pain. The kids, 13, 12 and 10 were not impressed either. They all really wanted to go on the zip wires but the queue was always to long so they just kept complaining to me, as children do. I paid £80 to get in, you pay £10 just to watch your kids. I took them to a later session because the daytime price is £27.50 each! A ridiculous amount of money for what is an average adventure playground. Not worth the money or the pain! Won't be going back.
