Clarion Hotel Newcastle South – sunderland

Ive only been here to use the pool but I've enjoyed the swim. Limited numbers in the water meant swimming lengths was comfortable, no avoiding other swimmers. Nice clean changing rooms and lovely hot showers afterwards.

Really enjoyed my visit today. I used their leisure facilities and had a lovely coffee in the courtyard. Staff are great...welcoming and extremely helpful ☺

Very comfortable. Really quiet rooms. Shower was powerful and easy to use. Food was also good!

Great looking place once you get through the front doors. Conciliation rooms are clean and well laid out for a small group. Perfect for a meeting with 5 people and someone speaking/presenting during this covid period didn't stay any long than need however so I can't say anything about the food or anything at the bar. Remember to enter your cars reg plate as you enter

Had to cancel March visit because of Covid and lockdown.... Not our fault but no refund available according to website as still taking bookings

I attended the hotel on Thursday 9th December 2021 for a Bonkaz Bingo Christmas party. There were 7 girls in total and we didn’t stop laughing from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The female host was hilarious. A two course Christmas meal was included in the price and the food was amazing. A traditional roast dinner for main course, and a chocolate dessert. We all agreed that it was best Christmas party any of us had ever been to. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

very enjoyable stay, nice pool and sauna area, easy check in and check out and signage up to register your vehicle for parking, nice bar area didn't try restaurant but will next time we return

No heating on when arrivied reported to reception 3 times and was given two Poxy little fan heaters nothing else Happened complained to management who think the heating provided was Sufficient!!! Shocking service imp ...

Returned to do a further training event at the Clarion and once again received exceptional service and care from all the staff .. outstanding. If you want to experience a warm welcome, sincere authenticity and dedication to make your stay an enjoyable one then trust in Lisa, Peter, Jonathan, Neil and Amy, they won't disappoint and will leave you smiling and feeling like a truly valued customer.
