City Retreat Beauty Salon & Day Spa – newcastle

I had my first ever wax this week and city retreat made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. I have been previously for massages and I would recommend this salon to everyone. The staff are very welcoming and kind. I would give it a ranking of 10 but the scoring doesn’t go up that high.

My daughter and I loved our visit to the spa with the sauna and steam room - such a lovely place to relax before our massage. The hot stone massage was amazing and Amy took care to ensure she was applying the right amount of pressure for me. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and did everything to ensure we had a great experience. We will definitely be returning!

Went to city retreat for a relaxing sauna ,steam room and massage visit . A well organised visit with pleasant staff keeping it all safe and secure and clean . Great massage from Amy who I would hopefully get when we go again .

Perfect place to relax and get pampered. The staff were lovely and very skilled, i had the full body massage and would recommend to anyone. The treatments are tailored to your own needs and the prices were very good too. Already planning another trip here

Emma is absolutely fantastic at understanding what you need and then tailoring a massage to suit your individual needs. She really understands how to personalise your experience - as she listens so carefully. Then she remembers the next time too. So I’d have no hesitation in recommending Emma for a really brilliant massage experience. What is so amazing is she really has no idea just how good she is. Thanks Emma, you are a star!

Lovely hour spent this morning getting my nails done. The girls made it a really nice experience, and even tweaked my treatment to help fit in with my plans. Will 100% be back soon. Love the Sunday opening hours too!

Very professional and welcoming salon. My therapist was empathetic to my hearing loss and took time and care to ensure I had heard properly. My salt scrub and massage was tailored to my other health conditions and was carried out professionally & discreetly. I felt totally relaxed which was what I needed after doing 12hr shifts for the past few months. Thank you.
