I recently signed up to the gym under their £29.99 membership, however the direct debit confirmation has come through stating £59.98! Furthermore, I tired to book a session once the gyms reopen, however the system does not allow me to book despite there being availability. I’ve contacted Everyone Active and am yet to receive a response. Very unprofessional and a very poor mobile phone app.

3.5 stars. The pool smell is horrendous. The squash courts are fine. Sometimes the lights didn’t work. You can rent a racquet at the desk and buy balls if you’re just trying it out.

I only use the swimming pool there. At first glance it looks like a nice pool. But unfortunately on closer inspection, everything is a little bit grubby, the changing rooms are avagerage, the other day I saw a huge slug in the showers. Yuk. I've complained before about their overall hygiene. Must've fallen on deaf years. They allow parents on the pool side wearing their outdoor shoes. I've even observed members of staff walking around outside the building, ten minutes later they are doing a lifeguard shift at the pool wearing the same trainers. Disgusting. It's a shame. I don't think it would take much to improve their standards. They're pretty low.

The Leisure Centre is great but I had a terrible experience! A long haired slim build life guard (I later found out this was one of the managers by the girl at the front desk). I am a local and have joined with a membership, today was my first day. I began recording the leisure center from the pool area As I was walking up towards the gym. I was recording so I can show my Mrs as she wanted to know what it was like so she could sign up with me. The guy I described above began to shout "You can't record in here" I asked why not? And he shouts at the top of his lungs "Can't you see mate there are kids here". I was literally gobsmacked, that type of behaviour is absolutely disgusting from any member of staff let alone a manager. I truly believe he should be fired! How dare you say something like that to someone. I didn't know there was a no recording policy if there even is one and he could have politely told me that. Its an absolute disgrace and I honestly feel to cancel my membership and go somewhere else

Went here as a kid few times in the holiday was good for the time. Staff were useless and it's really a place if you know what you want to do go there and do it dont expect any help or advice form the staff. The pool could do with a deep clean. And the changing rooms need to be constantly checked. And cleaned.

The actual gym is OK and the staff seem nice enough, although somewhat poorly equipped considering The Gym just 10 minutes away is cheaper and has more equipment (although fewer facilities). The big problem is that they tell you to use the website, which looks great but is completely broken - only payment forms seem to work, conveniently. Every other action I've tried like signing up, getting a taster session pass, getting a PT, all of those have failed and you have this dumb back-and-forth to get anything done. No response at all online. Fed up, so I quit. For gym-goers you can do better, even for the price imo.
