Beautiful spa and great staff in there. Room good. Let down was the restaurant, despite booking precise time, took 45 minutes to order with no water or anything offered in interim . Staff in restaurant sweet but inexperienced and no one managing them. I'd happily stay again but would eat outside restaurant. Food very heavy which will suit some tastes but some of us go to spa for healthy experience. Be careful if you have allergies or are vegetarian, we ordered vegetarian breakfast and got pork sausages, staff don't really listen and are on auto pilot.

Really enjoyed our visit today with tour guide Isaac who was engaging and informative. Lots of information presented in a variety of ways and great attention to detail; loved the hot air balloon ride and apothecary where we could choose our medical issues! Takes about 1.5hrs...well worth it.

The time we spent there was about 4 hours. The lady who explained every thing about the beginning of the belief that the water in Buxton had excellent substances so that a number of health issues were easily cured. To begin with the wealthy people believed that they would be cured. To bring it up to any time now we were told that the football team called Everton had the treatment to such an extent they won the FA Cup in 1956. The visit was excellent and kept us maintaining our attention.
