Booked in here for a couple of nights as we met up with some friends from near here. Room is spacious with a great ensuite, bed is very comfy and room is spotless. Having a guest lounge with ample tea and coffee facilities is great. John is very knowledgeable about the area and has some great recommendations for places to eat.

We had an excellent stay at John's B&B. He is a wonderful host and helped us immensely by letting us know the local attractions, must do hikes and bike routes, restaurants. Location of the B&B is perfect as it's in the heart of Hope Valley, and can be navigated through public transport as well. We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful room to ourselves with nice views to the front and back. Room was very clean and had all necessary things required. Best part of the stay was the breakfast which is prepared at home and had such a variety from English breakfast to Continental. Also the home baked cakes every evening were so delicious and ensured a perfect end to the day. Loved the setting around the guest room, where there are board games and DVD's of popular movies for entertainment and books/maps of Peak District area. Really appreciate John's hospitality and would surely visit again in future.
