Not particularly friendly and very poor food on the day we visited. Main course (steak pie) was too salty and dry. Veg was fine but chips were unappetising. I ordered apple crumble for dessert. Although not traditional baked apple crumble, this tasted ok eventually but was served at a dangerously high temperature. I burned my mouth on the first spoonful and my fingers as I pushed the bowl away. Upon advising the waitress that it might be a good idea to advise the chef (from a Health & Safety perspective), she smirked and disappeared to the kitchen. We clearly heard the chef respond “better hot than cold”The waitress was made aware that we had heard the comment. She walked away. Two poor mains, a dessert that burnt my mouth, a lager and lime & soda all for £37 with no apology or customer service. Avoid.

Used to love meeting friends here for lunch, great food and a lovely atmosphere. Sadly now the car park is not just for pub use, we were unable to park just one car, and have our booked meal, and have had to find somewhere else for our monthly meet. (Rating is ok as the place is lovely but is poor as can't get in anymore).

Stood by the door for ten minutes before we were shown a table. Then we were seated on a table right in front of the door with people coming and going. After being seated it then took a further 20 minutes before being given menus. During this time no waitress made any acknowledgement of our presence. We were told that a drinks order would be taken, after a further 15 minutes we left. The pub was not short staffed on the day we visited.

Refreshing place. The restaurant is on the main road, you wont miss it. A cozy place, in the middle of the landscape, LB Inn offers some good range of breakfast, drinks and quality rooms. Have a good breakfast and Try walking the length,it's a best place to hike. Carry adequate water and some amount of food to keep you up during the hike. Remember....the place is not to be littered.

What a pub! Great beers, The food is unreal.. prices are good & you get plenty of it! Have stayed a few times in the small building next door.. the rooms are basic and quite new feeling with not much character but that's just my thoughts and didn't affect my stay one bit! Will always come back, Update, stayed again 2021 even better than before

Myself, my wife and my in-laws came here last night for a meal, the staff were warm and welcoming, we each had the saucy cow pie except my wife who had the tipsy chicken, the food is incredible, the pie was almost melt in the mouth, the chips were obviously freshly made, soft and fluffy, Mushy peas were also tasty! For dessert myself and my wife had banoffe waffles which were delicious! My farther in-law had Eton mess, All in all a fantastic meal, I'll be returning in July for my birthday!

After a lovely walk around the dam we had some lovely and delicious food. I chose the Steak & ale pie. I'm must say, it was the best pie I've ever had . That's not an exaggeration. Well done.
