LOOK ELSEWHERE! These people will promise the sun, moon and stars, and then deliver scratched and broken antiques, concealing the evidence of their ineptitude whenever they can. If I turned my back on the semi-criminal movers (and in at least one case, I'm not so sure about the "semi-"), they would carelessly dump unrelated items into boxes and quickly seal them before I returned. This caused endless hours of searching for keys, special light globes, etc., stupidly packed away with linens, for example. They also decided that dragging the rough surface of a Chinese ginger jar across the top of a Georgian bureau was a good idea, resulting in hundreds of pounds of damage. The topper was their handling of a specially cut glass sheet that topped my wife's Victorian dressing table - not only did they break it, but they waited until I had to leave the property to dispose of the evidence. I would rate them zero stars if possible. DO NOT BOTHER!!!

Moving house is a daunting experience but the team from Bishop's Move made it so much smoother and simpler. Prior to moving day, they were helpful with our questions, gave good advice [eg: on the number of boxes we'd need] and kept in contact about the move day itself. On the day they were prompt, friendly and got straight to work. We had a total of 5 people arrive and each knew what they needed to do but also were very careful about checking certain things with us, regarding our valuables. The whole packing and removal process only took about 3 hours which was pleasantly surprising - but this will vary depending on the amount of stuff / size of property. As can happen on moving day, there was a delay in gaining access to the new property in Oxford, however, the team from Bishop's Move were prepared to wait, without question and didn't add to our concerns. Our things were unloaded swiftly and again, they checked were we wanted everything deposited. As they left, they informed us that we could keep the boxes for as long as we needed and, when ready, we could contact the company to get the boxes taken away [for recycling / reuse]. The price was fair, but again this will depend on the amount of stuff / size of property. I would recommend this company to anyone in Oxford.
