I was just passing by so I asked for a cherry scone and coffee to go. they were both amazing! :)) really great coffee! they have a great variety of bakery goodies, I whish I could go back to try them all :))

Gail's is lovely. The hot chocolate is awesome - warm and fulfilling. The overflowing shelves full of freshly baked savouries and pastries and breads and biscuits - a sight for any gourmand. Just one comment - restaurants like this need to start charging for paper napkins and save the environment. The average Oxonian picks up a wad of paper napkins, uses 2 and junks half a dozen. And then lines up on the road to save the damned environment!

Bread, coffee, atmosphere were good. However, the service needs to be improved. One of the staffs looks like she doesnt wanna work or provide any of service to customers.

Best breakfast place in town! The sweet pastries really hit the spot. They ran out of buttermilk pancakes but we got something way better - french toast. I could come here every day for a week.

Cinnamon swirls (cronut type pastries) are excellent. Coffee is delicious and smooth! Plenty of seating inside and outside.

Great bakery. Some nice sourdough bread. Would be nice to see a dark sourdough (rye) rather than just wholemeal sourdough bread. They have a wide variety of sweet and savoury food. I particularly like the sliders (small burger/sandwiches) for lunch. Everything is lovely and high quality but at a premium price.
